Your plan, taking shape

A real plan, in plain English - this is what yours will look like.

Maria Alvarez will carry out your wishes.
You chose Daniel & Priya as guardian for your children.
What you leave behind goes to my partner, then my daughter and my stepson.
State-specific documents and signing steps are included.

Your plan reflects 3 important choices so far.

How it works

From questions to documents ready for their next step.

1Tell us about your life. One question at a time, with a short explanation of why it matters. Skip anything and return later.
2See your plan come together. The plan changes as you answer, in words you can understand before you sign.
3Prepare each document for signing.See the witnesses, signing order, notarization details, and storage steps each document requires.

Built around your responsibilities

Made for the life you’re already managing.

Put the important decisions about your household, the people who matter to you, and what happens next in one clear plan.

Children who depend on you

Name guardians and backups, and choose how money should be held for them until the age you decide.

A home and accounts to sort out

Decide who receives them and who can manage your finances if you cannot, with the choices reflected in your plan as you answer.

A partner or co-parent

Name the right people without the questions assuming their roles, relationships, or whether you are married.

Parents, pets, and people who count on you

Record healthcare choices, practical instructions, pet care, and handoff information for the people who may need it.

Why Airlooms

See the work getting done.

Airlooms helps you understand each decision, turns your answers into a visible plan, and gives you clear steps for finishing it correctly.

Your plan becomes visible

Watch your choices take shape in plain English as you answer, so you can understand and change them before you sign.

It goes beyond the document

Get state-specific instructions for witnesses, signing order, notarization, storage, and handing the plan to the right people.

Legal language is not improvised

Your documents are assembled deterministically from your answers, while the assistant explains decisions in plain English.

Built for three states in depth

Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey each get their own document language, witness rules, self-proving materials, and signing steps.

Honesty first

Airlooms is a self-help document preparation service, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. Some situations genuinely need an attorney - a beneficiary with special needs, a taxable estate, a family dispute you can already see coming, or adopting a stepchild - and when yours does, we say so and point you to one instead of pretending.

The part they’ll keep

A will protects what you leave. A letter protects what you’d say.

Alongside the legal documents, Airlooms holds space for the human one: a letter to your children, in your own words, stored alongside your documents. You decide when and with whom to share it. It’s the part of the heirloom no template can write.

To my children,
if you’re reading this, know that the house, the accounts, the things… none of it was the point. You were the point, always.

Saved privately with your plan. Yours alone until it’s needed.

A trust only works as intended when its assets are properly transferred. Your trust tier includes a prepared deed so that part is ready for the next step. A deed only moves the house once it is recorded with the county, and that filing is the $249 per-property service - we will tell you that at the point you need it, not after you have paid.

Questions people actually ask

The honest answers.

Do I need a will or a trust?

A will is the foundation of either plan. A trust is an addition on top of one, not a replacement for it - and it can help in specific situations: you own property in more than one state, someone you’re leaving money to would need help managing it, or you’d rather none of it became a public court record. Owning a home is what puts a trust on the table; it isn’t what settles it. If you’re unsure, answer a few plain questions and we’ll tell you which fits - free, and nothing is saved.

Will this actually hold up legally?

The law does not require a lawyer to draft your will: a self-prepared will, signed and witnessed correctly, is as valid in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey as one an attorney drafts. What makes or breaks it is execution, which is why we give you exact signing instructions for your state and flag the details most people miss, like who is allowed to witness. No document service can promise you a court outcome, and we don’t. What we can do is show our work: every document carries a verification page listing the statutes behind its clauses and what has been checked against them.

Has this language been through attorney review?

Not yet - and rather than bury that, every document we generate says so on its face, driven by the sign-off ledger for your state rather than by a marketing decision. What has been done is machine work you can inspect: each clause is tied to the statute it implements, those statutes are retrieved from the official government sources that publish them and compared against our wording with every difference recorded, and each clause’s language is classified by where it descends from. The verification page linked from every document shows that status, in the same words the ledgers do.

My family doesn’t look like the examples. Will this work?

Airlooms does not assume one family structure. You can name a partner you’re not married to, mark a child as a stepchild, record your children’s other legal parent, and give any role to a friend rather than a relative. Where the law treats your household differently - and for unmarried partners and stepchildren it does, sharply - your documents say so on their face, and we tell you what to do about it rather than leaving you to find out later.

Is Airlooms a law firm?

No, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Airlooms is a self-help document preparation service: you direct your documents by answering questions, and our software assembles them deterministically from your answers. We don’t give legal advice - and if your situation needs an attorney, we tell you plainly.

How long does it really take?

Many people finish the questions in about twenty minutes, and you can stop and return because answers save as you go. Signing happens later. The Vault calculates one or more suggested sessions from the witness, notary, and signing-order requirements of your documents and state.

What if my life changes?

Update your saved answers and generate a new document set when your choices change. Previously signed documents do not update themselves, so review the replacement documents and follow their signing steps. Airlooms does not currently detect life events or send automatic reminders after a move, marriage, birth, or other change.

Is my information safe?

Your answers are encrypted, passwords are hashed with Argon2id, and two-factor authentication is built in. We run no ad trackers and never sell or share your information - your family’s details are not a product.

Which states do you support?

Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey - each built to its own law, not one template with the state name swapped in. Airlooms supplies state-specific document language, witness rules, self-proving materials, and signing instructions. More states will be added only after that same state-specific work is complete.
